This blog is about teleise’s farewell and we want her to know that we are going to miss her. so we made some thank you cards as a token of appreciation and gratitude. Hopefully she will remember us in Australia while living a new life with new people

In room 2 somethings that I have learnt is all the colored thinking hats such as red white blue green black and yellow. these thinking hats are all about feelings, information, thinking, creativity, judgement and strengths. if you were a thinking hat which would you be?

In room 2 we have been learning about diameter and perimeter we have also been doing our 1 to 12 times tables before we do anything for 2 terms. what have you been doing for math?

In room 2 we have been making reading responses. some of the books that I read before I made this reading responses is Pokemon Adventures X.Y volume.1. and in this book it is about a Jr tournament champion named X. after he won he decided to hide because of his fame he was too shy and worried about his pokemon

In room 2 we have been writing thank you letters for Teleise, Tony kake/marae, the Wilcox brother and finally Fonterra. we wrote these thank you letters to these people because they helped all of us make our hangi for matariki. and in these letters we were showing gratitude towards they thoughtfulness. If you had to make hangi what would you make yours with and how would you cook it?

This week for reading me and my group have been reading about climate change and what has happened to the earth over the years. some of my thoughts about reading are how has the temperature been rising so much lately. Well it is mostly caused from greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. If you were one to cause greenhouse gases if you could what would you do to try prevent it

This week in room 10 we did reading. in my reading workbook we had to do some vocabulary with the words essentials, emissions, commodities, necessity and Budgeting. in my opinion reading is the most boring subject especially when we have to go over the whole thing. What is your favorite subject?

This week room 10 has started to do their eastle test.  in this test I wrote about a boy and his friend Mike get sucked into a board game about medieval time where there where kings, knights and giant animals like the dragon though I didn’t add a dragon.

This week room 10 has been making a brochure about where Zoe should go on her honeymoon. In my brochure I chose for her to go to Japan the home of all anime, this country Is like living in the future with all their smart devices and fun things to do. Japan is an extraordinary country like no other and that is why I think Zoe should go there for her honeymoon. If you were to go to Japan for 5 days what would you do ???

During the week room 1, 2, 10 and 4 went on a trip to the museum. The museum we went to was the Auckland museum. The classes were all split into three groups named retro vintage and glamour and those groups were split into even smaller groups. Every group had split into 3 the group I got split into was the second group of retro. We were learning about the cultures of fashion and what they used to wear. We also did a scavenger hunt and the parent that was looking after my group (Alvin) knew where everything was. What group would you want to be apart of If you had the choice to choose?
